Detailed Drawings - Florals

Taking into consideration about what was mentioned in my last tutorial, i decided to build up a body of floral drawings from real life. This enabled to captured the essence and also my interpretation of nature which relates back to my project brief. I mainly focused on using fine liner, due to the fact i was able to capture intricate detail and different textures. Also i preferred using black and white but i will go back to using colour.

I felt these drawings were successful and had more enjoyment creating them. Although I detest using colour, once i start working digitally i will be able to add colour this way which may prove easier for me and also it will allow me to see what colours work and don't. I felt these designs could possible turn into the likes of Jon Tremaine and Johanna Basford. By combining a number of different elements together to create an intricate piece.

I like there combination of many detailed elements into one. Although Jon tremaines work does no relate to my style, i admire the detail and secrecy within his work. It does give my ideas to combine animals within my work, however at this stage i feel i want to focus on nature.
