As I wanted to keep the concept of nature quite broad as
this research stage, I decided to start looking into florals. Elizabeth
Blackadder creates delicate flower portraits, which are distinctive due to
colour and form.

Starting to think about my context, Surface pattern designer Louise Tiler enhances the beauty of nature through hand drawn and digital forms. Her idea of intricate patterns combined with abstract is something i wish to achieve. Initially i was aiming to work for the fashion sector, however, from further developing my drawings i feel interior is an area which my work would be more suitable for.
