Project statement - (Aims and Outline) Delicate Nature

The beauty of nature is an area, which captures the eye, through its vast number of textured surfaces, intricate detail, beautiful colours and shapes. It is concept that has continuously flourished within the world of art and textiles, through artists formulating their own observation. Reinventing nature through my interpretation will challenge the perception of nature and introduce a contemporary vision for the modern audience. My idea is to create an unusual composition of nature, through thoroughly focusing on abstract and detailed elements while concentrating on other distinctive aspects such as colour and form. These features enhance nature’s attraction and in addition bring out the significance of why I am intrigued to study this concept for my project. I will examine nature’s quality through photographic imagery and a range of different medias and styles of drawing. Eventually producing surface patterned designs for the interior design.
