Sophisticated Florals and Indefinite nature collections entail detailed drawings and loose abstract florals shapes.
Realising what mediums worked best within my practice unit; I focused more on my fine line detailed hand drawings as these proved successful. However, I felt I never used my imagery within my progression collection to a professional and satisfy level. This time I wish to use the drawings as they are and limit my use of editing them too much through digital design, as I want my hand drawn quality to shine through my prints. I aimed to use my previous drawings, by developing them through colour and going back and drawing into them to slightly change them.
Identify what needed to be achieved within this unit, I focused on producing drawings, which will be beneficial to me and tried to avoid drawings, which I may not use. Designers like Louise Tiler, built up their drawings through combining a number of imagery together creating a scene/story. Digital design would enable me to merge my drawings together more efficiently and quickly. I did try to join florals through drawings, but this proved time consuming.
